The world is changing very quickly. We've transitioned to online learning only.
Pocket Percussion has been running online classes for over a year.
To have drum lessons at home with Luke all you need is a good internet connection and to install Zoom on your PC or Mac. It’s free & you don’t need to sign up to use the program! Download zoom at www.zoom.com/download.
What is Zoom?
Before your first lesson you will receive an email that explains how to join your lesson.

What we do
Pocket Percussion offers a unique online experience to learn how to play the drums and other percussion instruments. Starting from the very basics we will guide you step by step on how to improve your drumming skills.
Who we are
Pocket Percussion is owned and run by Sydney-based drummer Luke Herbert. Luke has over 18 years experience in drumming and percussion education. He has has toured internationally as a session drummer and has studied under jazz greats such as Joe Morello and Bernard Purdie.

Our mission
Pocket Percussion was born from the idea of guiding students in their studies when the teacher is not around. Often it is difficult for beginners to guide their practice in an effective manner. We are aiming to provide an educational framework for drummers of all levels that will allow them to practice effectively with clear goals.
